The choices we made: Bystanding & Conflict in Northern Ireland

The choices we made: Bystanding & Conflict in Northern Ireland is a filmed collection of six true stories about individuals wrestling with moral, ethical and civic decision-making to act when confronted with sectarianism, violence and prejudice.

The stories range over a 30year period (1972 – 2002) and offer a fresh take on the options available for people during the Northern Ireland Troubles and post-ceasefire period. The stories are intended to raise questions and to help young citizens and their adult teachers to make connections to today.

At this event, we will launch the educators guide which is aimed at providing resources for Youth Workers, Teachers and other Groups Workers to make the most of this collection.
