Reading Rooms – ‘A Week in the Life of an Eco’ by Warrior by Kristin Martin
Worried about climate change a group of children come together as ‘Eco Warriors’. Over the course of a week they encounter various challenges and get a taste of what it means to promote and make real change(s). The humorous, uplifting story, which is told in journal entries, illustrates how important it is to come together as a group in the face of this global issue, and how surprising things can happen in the process.
Verbal’s Reading Rooms programme uses the power of storytelling to help people create new connections, express their feelings and learn more about the feelings of the people around them. Prepare to have a laugh and make new friendships by reading great stories together from around the world
